Dr Dooley has been with the practice since 1998. She provides a full range of general medical services, including contraceptive implants and joint injections. She is lead trainer for General Practice Specialist Trainees.

Dr MacPhie joined the practice as a full partner in April 2016. She offers a full range of general medical services. She has a special interest in drug misuse. She also provides joint injections.

Dr Page joined the practice November 2018, and became a partner in April 2021. He offers a full range of general medical services. He is a trainer of General Practice Specialty Trainees.

BMSC (2014) MBChB (Dundee 2016) MRCGP 

Dr Copeland joined the practice in August 2021 as our salaried GP, and became a partner in August 2022. She offers a full range of general medical services. She does joint injections. She is supervisor for Foundation Year 2 junior doctors.

Dr McNamara joined the practice in March 2022 as our salaried GP. He offers a full range of general practice care. He supervises medical students from Glasgow University who spend some time within the practice as part of their undergraduate training.

Sandra Smith is our community psychiatric nurse.

The nurses look after the on-going care of any long-term illness you may have, such are high blood pressure, heart problems, asthma, COPD or diabetes. They do a wide range of procedures including dressings, injections, travel health, cervical smears, immunisations, ear syringing, blood pressure checks, ECGs, lung function tests and blood tests.

Our triage nurse Amanda MacMillan is available for telephone advice Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. She has a special interest in travel health.

Our receptionists Susan and Jennifer have been given special training and are competent to take blood. Venepuncture clinics run every morning between 8.00am and 8.30am and every afternoon between 12.30pm and 1.00pm. No appointment is needed.

Our pharmacy team, Helen Farmer and Erin Williams are here throughout the week for help and advice on any medication queries you may have.

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
